The Indian Ocean Biodiversity Information System (IndOBIS) is a Regional OBIS Node (RON) run by the Centre for Marine Living Resources and Ecology (CMLRE) since 2009. The primary objectives of IndOBIS are the collection, collation and dissemination of spatially and taxonomically resolved marine species distribution records from the Indian Ocean region and the maintenance of voucher specimens from the Indian EEZ.
